Carol Poellein 88, of Dale, Indiana died on Dec. 29, 2020 at Willowdale Village.

Carol was born July 18, 1932 in Gentryville, IN., to Richard and Iva (Lichlyter) Cooper. She Loved the Lord! She reaffirmed her faith in Sept. 2007 when she was re-baptized in Owensboro Christian Church where she later became a member. She was formerly a member of the Chrisney Chapter OES #357.

She enjoyed traveling, sewing, reading books, having familytime and facebooking.  Carol worked at the 231 Truck Stop and was known as ‘The Pie Lady’.

She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Cooper Jr.

She is survived by her three daughters Paulita (Herschel) Mickey, Peggy (Greg) Belkoski and Diana (Robert) Haynes. Five grandchildren Amanda (Ed) Wolf, Jamie (Jason) Chapman, Laura (Kerry) Williams, Thomas (Nedra) Schaefer and Daniel (Kylee) Mickey and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday Jan. 3, 2021 from 11 AM till 2 PM CST at the Fuller Funeral Home in Dale.

Funeral Services will be private.

Due to the pandemic, social distancing will be observed and masks required.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice 415 E. 6th Street, Jasper, Indiana 47546.
