Frank Crews 86, of Gentryville, IN. died on Saturday August 22, 2020 at Transcendent Healthcare in Boonville.

Frank was born December 1, 1932 in Pigeon Switch, Indiana to Abner and Aria (Thurman) Crews. He played baseball in the NY Giants farm league and for many years with the Gentryville Pirates. Frank Also served in the US Army, and was a longtime Brickmason and retired from Alcoa in 1994.

Frank was also a lifelong member of the Gentryville United Methodist Church, and a 50 year member and Past Master in Gentryville Lodge #424 F. & A.M.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Lowell in infancy, and Fred Crews, sisters June Crews and Marta (Harold) Simpson.

He is survived by his wife Carrie Mae (Webb) Crews, daughters Mona (John Doan) Krieble and Sherri (Bob) Meeks, and a sister in Law Patricia Crews.

Grandchildren Amanda (Samara) Elliot, Brian Krieble, Emily Rothhaar, Angie Meeks and Robin Tretter.

Eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Friends may call on Sat. Aug. 29 from 11 AM CST till 1 PM CST at the Gentryville United Methodist Church.

A Masonic Memorial will be held on Sat. at 1 PM CST at the Church, with the Memorial Service following

Due to the pandemic, social distancing will be observed and masks required.
