Lloyd Ray Southwood Sr, 77, died on Wed., June 29,2022 at his home. He was born December 8, 1944 in Lamar, Indiana to Kenneth and Julia (Crews) Southwood.

Lloyd was a highly critical fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Indiana Hoosiers. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church in Santa Claus, American Legion Post 124 in Ferdinand, and served in the National Guard.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Wilson; brother, Roger Southwood; and nephew, Jeff Wilson.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karen (Keller); sons: Steve (Cheryl), LR (Kimberlee), Brady, Garrett (Susan) and Kenton; grandchildren: Hayleigh Phillips, Allyson Southwood, Maggie, Macy Rae, Bridget, Brenna, and Tate Southwood; great granddaughter, Aria Phillips; grandson Southwood and great grandbaby Phillips on the way; sisters: Betty (Art) Witte and Gail (Ed) Fuhrman; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday July 3, from 2 to 6 PM CDT at Fuller Funeral Home.

A Graveside service is planned for Monday at 10 AM CDT at Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery Fund or Heart to Heart Hospice.Fuller Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
